Circle
Time INSET
Our twilight training session has been developed to help teachers:
- Find
out what the benefits of circle time might be in enhancing self-esteem
and self-discipline.
- Understand
what skills, values and knowledge can be developed for children
of different ages
- Feel
confident enough to "have a go"
- Know
how to link in Circle Time with their planning for PSHCE
Have an opportunity to look at the resources available to support
this approach.

Rights
and Responsibilities Workshop
This workshop will support the teaching of citizenship through demonstrating
activities to be used in the classroom. Using materials developed
by UNICEF, we will look at how looking at the United Nations Convention
on the rights of the child meets the requirements of the new Citizenship
and PSHCE curricula by teaching children about their rights and
responsibilities and the rights of children world wide.
Suitable for Key Stages 1, 2 and 3.
